After previous plans were refused, developers have once again applied to demolish the Roath Park Pub.
Local Plasnewydd Labour Councillors have explored a number of options to try and protect the building including making a submission to Cadw, the Welsh Governments historic environment service, to have the Roath Park listed.
We were extremely disappointed to learn recently that this submission had been turned down. Local Councillors are currently attempting to meet with the owner of the Roath Park to see if they would be prepared to explore options involving keeping the historic building intact.
You can see the latest application to demolish the building here and I would encourage as many people as possible to submit an objection.
You can view the application and object online here.
