Independent Live Music Venues are the lifeblood of Cardiff’s night-time economy. I am thrilled to hear that Porter’s Cardiff has moved into its new home in Barrack Lane, following work by Cardiff Labour Council to facilitate a 20-year lease on the site.
The new venue will allow Porter’s to put on more events, welcome larger crowds, and will provide the space to build on what has already become a focal point for gig-goers from Cardiff and beyond.
I hope it will flourish in this new location and continue to nurture the talent Cardiff Central has to offer.
