Fourteen years of Tory economic chaos has decimated council budgets. Councils are now facing reduced funding settlements at the same time of soaring costs to deliver public service. In Cardiff alone, costs have increased by around £56 million.

Faced with these pressures, Cardiff Council is asking for your views on a range of far-reaching budget proposals which seek to balance the books and prioritise core services.
