From campaigning to save Womanby Street and Guildford Crescent to pushing for more support for our creative industries during the pandemic, protecting our live music sector in Cardiff Central has always been a top priority for me.

I liaised with Porter’s on their plans and so I’m really pleased to see that Cardiff Labour Council has helped Porter’s to secure a new 20-year lease on a bigger venue in Barrack Lane. This will not only secure the future of this iconic Cardiff music venue, it will also ensure that Porter’s can maintain its character, while allowing them to host more events and attract larger audiences.
