Every year I celebrate Heart Unions week with my Albany Road office team. The week is designed to showcase the benefits of being in a trade union.

Rights at work that we take for granted today have been hard fought and won by generations of trade unionists. From weekends to holiday pay, pensions to sick pay, union victories have benefitted us all.
