Glenwood Church in Cardiff Central is the latest welcome recipient of a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund.
This award will make an incredible difference to their work and those that rely upon it within our communities of Llanederyn and Pentwyn. Glenwood are building a `Wellbeing Space’ by adding a 500sqm two storey annex to the front of their building and also by reconfiguring the existing building.
The Wellbeing Space will enable the team to provide a new wellbeing provision for the community and also increase existing provision of community activities, all of which will complement and add to what is already on offer.
The National Lottery Community Fund has continued to support communities across Wales throughout the COVID-19 emergency and remain open to applications to support the recovery from the pandemic.
Since April, they have awarded £17 million to 656 groups with the majority of these grants helping communities to adapt to and recover from COVID-19.
