TVT Mesh Campaign – 7 July 2017

TVT (or Transvaginal) Mesh surgery is a medical procedure used to treat incontinence and prolapse.

An increasing number of women have reported complications since having the surgery, with many suffering from chronic and debilitating pain as a result of the procedure.

Lots of MPs have been contacted by women injured by mesh implants and campaigners want them banned.

I am working with a group of MPs to investigate the issue further, including hearing from medical experts, women affected, and campaign leaders at a meeting due to take place in mid-July.

If you live in Cardiff Central and have been affected by TVT mesh surgery please get in touch with my office (using the contact details here).
