Jo Becomes a Patron of CÂN Cymru – 15 Sept 2016
This week I was delighted to accept an invitation to become a patron of CÂN Cymru. Founded in 2016 by Luke Fletcher, a student at Cardiff University, CÂN Cymru are a new organisation seeking to improve the quality of life of those suffering from Alzheimer’s through reminiscent therapy. Currently their flagship initiative is the use of music as a means for reminiscent therapy.

Cân Cymru have also announced that they will be having their first fundraiser on 4th October, at Jamies Italian restaurant in Cardiff City Centre.
Guests will enjoy Prosecco on arrival followed by a three course meal, with a raffle and an auction with fabulous prizes to be won. Tickets are £30 per head and all proceeds go to Cân Cymru to help kick start their work helping Alzheimer’s suffers through reminiscent therapy.
