A strong voice for Cardiff Central

Happy New Year

2015. What a year. As it draws to a close and we all look forward to 2016, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave their precious time and energy to help me and the Cardiff Central Labour team this year. So many people did so much in different ways.

To win was brilliant, but obviously tempered by our national result and not being able to form a government and implement our manifesto for the many.

I was, and still am, overwhelmed by the kindness and friendship shown to me throughout a long and arduous election campaign that started in 2013. We had the best team ever and I have made many friends for life as a result.

It is a real privilege to represent my Cardiff Central neighbours and friends in parliament. My aim if elected, was to work hard, be an effective representative, independent minded, accessible and visible. I hope I have lived up to your expectations since May with the continuing help of a fantastic team.

We'll continue to work hard for you in 2016. Please get in touch if we can help you.

Enjoy the new year celebrations all. Here's to a healthy, peaceful and more kind 2016. This coming May, I hope we'll be celebrating again as we re-elect Jenny Rathbone as our Cardiff Central Assembly Member and our Welsh Labour Government.

Happy New Year!
